The organisers of Huddersfield Business Week are reaching out to businesses of neighbouring towns and cities to join them for a week of events, knowledge sharing and networking. The week, running from 30th September to 4th October this year, looks to create more collaboration and links with neighbouring areas in an effort to create stronger business ties that will benefit the North.
We are looking to promote Huddersfield not only as a town itself, but as part of a strong Northern business community. Usually, business weeks work in silo but this event looks to include all business people and perhaps inspire neighbouring towns to host their own.
Huddersfield Business Week will launch with a panel chaired by a prominent journalist that will discuss the state of the region and ambitions for the future. Alongside this, other businesses and organisations are hosting their own events including a pop-café by the LEP and a diversity in the media panel by Innovation Network, which will include panellists from top media outlets, as well as factory tours, workshops, seminars, talks and more.
Katrina Cliffe, founder and Managing Director of KC Communications commented: “We have so many businesses here doing great things and with a wealth of knowledge and expertise that we would like to share with the regional business community, so that we might all benefit.”
